Funded by the New York State Health Department, STYA operates small and large group activities that are designed to assist youth in developing futuristic goals, enhance their academic and life skils and provide positive activities for youth so they can avoid premature sexual activity, teen pregnancy, and other negative activities in their home community.
All groups adhere to the principles of positive youth development and utilize the "Search Institute's" 40 Developmental Assests.
